Traditional driving schools thrive on shouting, intimidation, and urgency. DriveLearn operates on an enforceable zero-aggression covenant:

• Every instructor holds active behavioral coaching certification in psychological safety and anxiety de-escalation.
• Instructors are strictly prohibited from raising their voice, using sarcastic or demeaning comments, or exhibiting physical agitation.

Before operating any training vehicle on public roads, the learner must satisfy the following statutory requirements under the Motor Vehicles Act:

• Minimum Age: 18 years completed for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV - Private Car) certification.
• Learner's Licence: The learner must hold a valid, non-expired Learner's Licence (LL) issued by a recognized RTO. If you do not have an LL, DriveLearn will process your Form 2 application and online theory exam prior to your first on-road lesson.
• Zero Substance Tolerance: Learners must strictly refrain from alcohol, narcotics, or prescription medication causing drowsiness before any practical in-car session. Instructors reserve the right to cancel sessions immediately if impairment is suspected.

All training cars in our fleet are equipped with certified secondary dual-pedals (dual-brake and dual-clutch on manual models; dual-brake on automatic models) on the co-driver side.

The instructor retains the legal status of “Driver in Charge” under statutory traffic law. While you are driving, the instructor holds full authority to gently intervene, apply secondary braking, or guide steering whenever an immediate road hazard, pedestrian incursion, or collision risk arises.

We value your time. Our scheduling policy is engineered to balance learner flexibility with instructor dispatch logistics:

• Doorstep Pickup: Instructors arrive at your pinned residence or office address 5 minutes prior to session commencement and wait up to a maximum of 15 minutes.
• Free Rescheduling: You may reschedule any session through your dashboard with zero penalty up to 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
• Late Cancellation Window: Cancellations made under 12 hours forfeit 50% of the session credit due to dedicated vehicle and coach allocation.

Advanced modules—such as the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway high-speed cruise (100–120 km/h), night-time glare management, and monsoon wet-braking clinics—require prerequisite clearance:

A learner must demonstrate verified competency in basic pedal modulation, lane centering, and mirror geometry before being dispatched onto high-speed expressways. If severe torrential weather poses extreme aquaplaning risks, highway runs may be converted to precision indoor simulator or urban water-wading drills for safety.

One of the greatest fears of beginner drivers is accidentally scratching a training car. At DriveLearn Academy, we eliminate that anxiety entirely:

• 100% Commercial Coverage: Every vehicle in our dual-control fleet carries comprehensive commercial driving-school insurance, including third-party liability and personal accident coverage.
• Zero Learner Deductible: Learners carry zero financial liability for scratches, kerb wheel scuffs, or minor fender damage sustained during guided training under instructor supervision.
• Bespoke Personal Car Sessions: When training in your private vehicle through our Concierge Program, your private vehicle's comprehensive policy applies, with our coach acting as a professional advisory navigator.

All course fees are fully inclusive of fuel, dual-control car maintenance, certified instructor time, and doorstep transit. There are zero hidden fuel surcharges or RTO document administrative markups.

3-Session Satisfaction Guarantee: If within your first 3 practical sessions you feel our teaching methodology does not align with your learning style, you can request course discontinuation for a prorated refund of all remaining unutilized sessions with zero cancellation penalty.

These terms are governed in accordance with the Motor Vehicles Act (1988), the Central Motor Vehicles Rules (1989), and the laws of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi.
